New Internet shopping site.

Well no lovely pics today unfortunately. But to me something equally exciting. I have opened a Cafepress online shop. Woo hoo. So basically you all can now purchase things with my images and designs on them(ie. tshirts, posters, cards, mugs, and many other fun things.) You should all check it out. Come'on help a Starving artist out. :)
You will also find 2 new links on the side of the page. One for my Cafepress shop, the other is for my flicker page.

Thanks everyone,
Christina

What a weekend.

Wow what a weekend I had. I was just hanging out with my brothers girlfriend Barbie when I got an invite to go to Colorado Springs. My parents asked me Thursday afternoon to take my brother to his football practices because they might be leaving to go to the Eddie Woods Rocky Mountain Select Longhorn Sale. I said I had plans, But my grandma said she would. Well anyway we headed off to town to meet up with Barbie. I went and hung out with her until about 9 we went and saw my aunt and my 2 little cousins, then we headed home. We stopped by my parents place to pick up my brother Matt at about 9:45pm. As we are pulling out of the drive my mom asked if I want to go. I say yes, and my dad says I have about 10 min to get ready. We race to my grandma to get my stuff, I literally packed in about 10 min. When my dad says he is leaving, you had better be ready to go. We pull away from my parents at about 10:15pm. We drove straight through only stopping for gas and a few potty stops. We got to Colorado springs at about 6 pm. We stayed at on of the Radisons in CO Springs, our room had the best view it was facing north west so it overlooked the Rockies. The next day we went to the Garden Of the Gods(I am attaching pics) and Pikes Peak. We didn't drive up though because it was 35 dollars and we are all cheap and thought that it was crazy to pay that much to drive up a mountain. We went to the cattle sale, and my dad bought 2 nice heifers and a nice cow/calf pair. After the sale we set off for Nebraska. My parents are looking for a ranch out west so we swung by a place I central Nebraska. It was nice, I love the rolling prairies. We headed home after we got done touring the ranch. We got home at about 4 am Monday morning and fell soundly asleep. The next day I took a five hour nap I was Wiped out. You can find more images in my gallery the link is on the side of this page.

The beginning

So this is a new thing for me. Mostly I have just posted pics in my blog, but now I am actually going to write. I read an article called "Blogtastic" in my rangefinder mag that said that blogs were great customer service tools. Seems silly but I'm willing to try it. I am going to use this blog as a journal of sorts so that people can get to know me personally as well as a photographer. I will also try to add one or two photos a week to try too keep things interesting. I hope to be able to let people see how I progress as a photographer as time goes on. Hopefully you will see me realize some goals in my photographic career, such as eventually doing weddings. That will be a long time away though in the mean time I will also be regaling you with funny things that happen to me while I'm out shooting, stories about my pets, family antidotes and the like. As potential clients will likely see this I won't be talking about politics, or having any rude jokes or comments, Sorry to disappoint some of you. Now as promised a photo to end today's blog with. Later everyone.
